San Francisco running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) and wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr (ankle) were both held out of practice again on Wednesday as they recover from their injuries, per Matt Maiocco on Twitter. Both have been limited during the pre-season with injuries and their status for week 1 against the Packers could be doubtful.
Brandon Jacobs, Ted Ginn Jr Miss Practice, Fantasy Value For Week 1 In Doubt
Brandon Jacobs and Ted Ginn Jr were held out of practice on Wednesday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: The injury to Jacobs could be a boost to Frank Gore and Kendall Hunter for goal line carries, though Green Bay gave up the 6th fewest rushing touchdowns in 2011. Maybe more importantly is that Kyle Williams could get an opportunity to fill-in for Ginn on special teams and be listed as the number four wide receiver on Sunday. Neither Jacobs or Ginn are big fantasy options but it could open the door for others.
