Brees, speaking Wednesday on a conference call with Washington reporters, said Griffin is a phenomenal athlete who can do things running and throwing that most people can't do. Brees did add that he hoped Griffin would wait a week before having a breakout performance. The teams square off in New Orleans on Sunday.
