Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris could see a lot of action this season, depending on who has "the hot hand" according to offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan. Morris has drawn a lot of praise in the preseason and it's still unconfirmed as to who will start against the Saints on Sunday. The same strategy would apply to Roy Helu or Evan Royster, but it's remains a wait-and-see game for fantasy owners.
Alfred Morris’s Fantasy Value Goes Up When He’s ‘The Hot Hand’
Alfred Morris has looked good in the preseason but we’re still unsure who will start for Washington. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Mike Shanahan’s mind can literally change mid-game as to what a “hot hand” is and if Helu starts and struggles in the first quarter, you could see Morris or Royster handle the ball for the rest of the game. Or all three could split action. It’s a tricky game to play but it’s worth owning any of these running backs and then seeing how the situation plays out because even if we don’t know who the starter is today, a Shanahan starting running back is still very valuable in fantasy.
