Greg Olsen injury update: Probable, should play for fantasy owners
Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen fully participated in practice on Friday and is probable in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Barring a setback, Olsen will suit up on Sunday. With wide receiver Steve Smith as the only other reliable option for quarterback Cam Newton, Olsen is locked in as a TE1 against Minnesota’s suspect front seven. Olsen has not recorded less than four catches in a game this season and is averaging 68 yards per contest. Always a steady producer, fantasy owners can expect more of the same from former first-round pick in this week’s favorable match up.
In his third season with the Carolina Panthers, Olsen is on pace for 84 receptions, 1,092 yards and 4 touchdowns. While fantasy owners would love to see him find the endzone a few more times, his reliability and healthy number of targets makes him a strong candidate to be a top-five tight end play in any given week.
