St. Louis running back Zac Stacy had another mediocre day Sunday in the team's 38-13 win over the Houston Texans. He carried the ball 18 times for 79 yards, adding 2 receptions for 11 yards.
Zac Stacy turns in another decent performance for fantasy owners
The Rams running back Zac Stacy was the team’s workhorse once again Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Despite carrying the load for the Rams in his second straight week, Stacy could not find the endzone. His longest run went for 18 yards.
Fantasy impact: Moving on from the previously ineffective starter Daryl Richardson, head coach Jeff Fisher decided to go stick with Zac Stacy as his lead back. Averaging 4.9 YPC over his first two starts, the rookie fifth round pick makes a fine bench stash. He can only be trust as a FLEX option at this point. However, he is playing well and is knocking on the door of a 100 yard game.
Stacy has a firm grasp on the starting role as teammates Daryl Richardson and Benny Cunningham combined for only six total carries. If Stacy can manage to find his way into the endzone, he will be a solid RB2 play. The Rams have now scored 72 points over the last two weeks so this is a realistic possibility. Stacy should be owned in all leagues.
