Marques Colston followed up Week 5's two catches for 15 yards with an even more frustrating stat line against the Patriots. Colston finished with a single catch for 11 yards on just three targets. Somehow the Patriots were able to completely prevent Jimmy Graham from a getting a single catch, and Colston was unable to capitalize on the diversion. Rookie wide receiver Kenny Stills and tight end Benjamin Watson managed to take advantage of the Graham/Colston shutout as Darren Sproles continue to be a PPR force for fantasy owners.
Marques Colston disappoints fantasy owners for second consecutive week
Marques Colston caught one pass for 11 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Patriots. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: It's difficult to determine why Colston wasn't targeted more than three times. Colston isn't a receiver that will typically create separation from defenses consistently, but he's a sure-handed option that Brees will typically rely on when a weapon like Graham is taken out of the game. Fortunately for Brees, Kenny Stills was able to step up and offer a deep option in the passing game. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Colston rarely caught Brees' attention, much less a few passes. The Saints will have a bye week before facing the Bills at home. In the meantime, Colston is a decent buy low option if you're looking for a potential WR2 for a WR3 price.
