Buffalo Bills quarterback Thad Lewis (sprained foot) practiced with the team on Friday and will start in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins. After suffering the injury last Sunday, it is unlikely that he will be fully recovered.
Thad Lewis injury update: Bills QB practices all week, will play for fantasy owners
Thad Lewis practiced in full this week and will start in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lewis made his second-career NFL start last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and their tough defense, and he performed reasonably well. He completed 19 of 32 passes (59.4 percent) for 216 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also added a rushing touchdown and lost a fumble.
Fantasy Impact: While Lewis doesn't have a particularly difficult matchup against the Dolphins, his foot injury could very well limit his mobility. He is also dealing with a hobbled C.J. Spiller and Stevie Johnson, who is returning from a back injury that kept him out against the Bengals. While giving Lewis one more week to rest his foot would probably be the wiser move, Matt Flynn is the alternative and won't increase the team's chances of winning. Expect a heavier-than-normal rushing attack from the Bills. Lewis is a low-end QB2 and owners can probably scoop a stronger play off the waiver wire.
