Kenbrell Thompkins and the New England Patriots travel to face the New York Jets in Week 7. Thompkins has had his share of both rookie and promising plays this season. He was undrafted out of Cincinnati, but he turned heads all throughout training camp and ended up beating out second-round rookie receiver Aaron Dobson. Despite his UDFA status, drafters were atypically willing to take a mid-to-late-round flier on Tom Brady's new starting receiver.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7: Kenbrell Thompkins
The Patriots wide receiver has been solid yet inconsistent all year. Can he put it together in Week 7? We break down the fantasy implications.

While Thompkins is still far from a finished product, he has played well and shown weekly improvement thus far. His best game of the season came in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons, where he posted a 6/127/1 line. Although he hasn't topped 47 yards in any other game this year, Thompkins now has four touchdowns in as many weeks.
Fantasy Impact: There is no question that Thompkins' value will take a hit with star tight end Rob Gronkowski back in the lineup. Gronkowski is one of the leagues' best end zone threats, securing an eye-popping 38 touchdowns in his first three seasons. Touchdowns account for a large part of his fantasy value. Until we see what he does with Gronkowski on the field, Thompkins is a low-end WR3.
