Matthew Stafford continued to put up strong QB1 numbers for fantasy owners on Sunday. Stafford completed 28 passes out of a season-high 51 attempts for 357 yards and three touchdowns. The Bengals lost their most reliable cornerback when Leon Hall suffered an apparent Achilles injury in the first quarter. Stafford abused Cincinnati's rattled secondary with an astounding 15 targets for Calvin Johnson. Johnson contributed 155 yards and two touchdowns toward Stafford's stat line.
Matthew Stafford rewards fantasy owners with 357 yards and three touchdowns
Stafford managed 357 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to the Bengals on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The Bengals and Lions kept the game close throughout most of the afternoon, but Stafford still took to the air at an almost excessive rate. If Johnson was still dealing with any lingering discomfort from his knee injury, it didn't show. The two connected often enough to put up huge numbers for the afternoon. Stafford is trending toward being a top fantasy quarterback as long as Johnson is on the field. He'll face a Dallas defense in Week 8 that has been overly generous to fantasy quarterbacks this season.
