Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill played like a typical sophomore quarterback in Week 7 against the Buffalo Bills. He completed 19 passes on 37 attempts for 194 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. Tannehill also lost a fumble and barely completed half of his passes.
Ryan Tannehill has a mixed day for Dolphins, fantasy owners
The Dolphins quarterback wasn’t particularly sharp in Week 7. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: While the former first-round pick is on pace for his first 4,000 yard passing season, the young quarterback is far from a finished product. He is showing steady improvement, but is far from a fantasy asset. His three touchdowns in today’s performance puts him at nine on the year. Tannehill is also dealing with shaky offensive line play as he has now been sacked 28 times this year.
The Dolphins brass has a done a better job of surrounding Tannehill with more talent this year as he now has speedster Mike Wallace and emerging tight end Charles Clay with which to throw. However, Tannehill still isn't a recommended fantasy play. Until he starts putting the pieces together, Tannehill will remain a low-end QB2.
