Roddy White can't return soon enough for Matt Ryan. Ryan threw for 301 yards, a touchdown, and a whopping four interceptions against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Burdened with an ineffective running game and a lack of weapons in the receiving game, Ryan targeted Harry Douglas 18 times as Tony Gonzalez was nearly shut out by the Arizona Cardinals defense. The Atlanta Falcons totaled just 24 rushing yards for the day, and Ryan attempted 61 passes as a result.
Matt Ryan stumbles for fantasy owners with four interceptions
Matt Ryan threw for 301 yards and a touchdown, but also threw four picks against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Ryan may be a permanent "sit" candidate in fantasy football any week he faces the Arizona Cardinals. In 2012, Ryan threw for the exact same 301 yards, but with no touchdowns and five interceptions. While the match up appears to be a coincidental fluke in regards to Ryan's fantasy output, it's worth mentioning that he'll be wading through a gauntlet of difficult match ups over the next several weeks. It begins in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. Ryan is still a QB1 in most formats, but he'll need Roddy White if owners expect him to continue as a start-worthy fantasy option on a weekly basis.
