Fantasy owners were finally able to dust off Steven Jackson from their bench after being sidelined since Week 2. Unfortunately, Jackson couldn't make anything happen in his return. Jackson rushed for just six yards on 11 carries. He added three catches for seven yards to his day. Fellow running back Jacquizz Rodgers was given just two carries, rushing for eight yards. Jackson's offensive line wasn't doing him any favors, but he didn't look capable doing much even if they had given him better lanes.
Steven Jackson fails to produce for fantasy owners in Week 8
The Falcons starting back returned to action on Sunday, rushing for just six yards. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Perhaps Jackson's return from a hamstring injury was a little premature. Or perhaps Jackson has simply lost any burst he had left in him. Either way, Jackson looked sluggish. If Jackson continues to play the way he did against the Arizona Cardinals, owners simply cannot start him even on softer match ups. Considering the Atlanta Falcons have the Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, and New Orleans Saints coming up, Jackson has an uphill battle ahead of him. Jackson should be benched in most leagues outside of the occasional desperation play.
