Tony Gonzalez is getting plenty of attention from defenses right now, and fantasy owners are suffering the consequences. With Roddy White sidelined and Julio Jones out for the season, Gonzalez is now the focal point of any opposing defense. Gonzalez was held to just three catches for 26 yards during Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Gonzalez was targeted eight times, but Arizona's defense did everything they could to keep Gonzalez from making plays.
Arizona Cardinals limit Tony Gonzalez’s fantasy production in Week 8
Gonzalez was held to 26 yards against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: It's concerning that Gonzalez hasn't been producing since Jones was injured in Week 5, but the return of White could open up the middle of the field for Gonzalez a bit more. It's also worth noting that Harry Douglas is putting up big numbers while teams find ways to limit Gonzalez. If Ryan continues to find other options, defenses may ease up on Gonzalez. However, the Falcons did lose to the Cardinals on Sunday. If teams can beat the Falcons by stopping Gonzalez, the lack of production could continue for fantasy owners. Gonzalez is still a TE1 that remains a red zone threat regardless of his reception totals.
