Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall had another average fantasy performance in Week 5, catching four passes for 30 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Brandon Marshall has quiet Week 5 vs. Saints, worth buying low in fantasy football
Marshall’s fantasy owners may be getting frustrated.

Marshall was noticeably frustrated in his post game comments, saying that he's had trouble getting open. Alshon Jeffery was the Bears' star wide receiver on Sunday, catching 10 passes for over 200 yards receiving. Marshall, meanwhile, was targeted only fives times as the Saints double covered him consistently.
Fantasy spin: Marshall’s snap count didn’t drop dramatically on Sunday. He only missed two of the team’s offensive snaps, but he just wasn’t getting the ball often. Whether it was because he wasn’t getting open or the Saints’ coverage was just that good is up for debate.
Marshall is still worth buying low at this point in the season. He has a tremendous amount of talent and the schedule should soften up for him down the road.
