Green Bay Packers running back Johnathan Franklin had fumbled for the second straight game in the team's Week 5 win against the Detroit Lions, and this one cost him playing time.
Johnathan Franklin’s Week 5 fumble costs him playing time, fantasy football value
A fumble has doomed a rookie running back. Where have we heard that before?

In Week 3, Franklin had a costly fumble, which contributed to the Packers' loss to the Bengals. In the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Lions, Franklin fumbled again. He didn't receive another snap in the backfield after that, according to the Green Bay Press-Gazette.
Fantasy spin: Franklin was picking up steam as a fantasy commodity after a solid Week 3 performance. But like many rookies, fumbling issues could doom his first season in the NFL. He is a talented running back, but with Eddie Lacy healthy, Franklin may not get as many opportunities to tote the rock.
In deeper leagues, Franklin is worth hanging onto. But owners in shallower leagues can part ways with the Packers rookie running back.
