DeMarco Murray injury update: RB will play for fantasy owners
The Cowboys running back practiced on full on Friday in will start in Week 10. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: DeMarco Murray has predictably dealt with the injury bug this season but his hasn’t overly affected his play when he’s been on the field. More concerning than his MCL issue is the fact that he only received four carries last week against the Minnesota Viking’s soft run defense. He is averaging 13.6 carries per contest and owners shouldn’t have much faith the the Cowboys will use him in a true feature-back role.
With only one 100-yard game and three touchdowns on the season, owners can nott view Murray as an RB1. His 4.8 yards per carry is encouraging. However, the Cowboys have shown that they are not afraid of abandoning the run in any given game when the have a strong receiving core that consists of star wide receiver Dez Bryant, future hall-of-fame tight end Jason Witten and emerging receiver Terrance Williams. Murray is a middle-of-the-pack RB2.
