The Denver Broncos put up a great offensive performance against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday. Unfortunately, Wes Welker wasn't a big part of the game plan. Welker ended up with just three catches for 21 yards. It was easily Welker's lowest output of the season. It was his second game of the season without finding the end zone.
Wes Welker is a fantasy dud in Week 10
Welker ended Sunday’s game with just 21 receiving yards. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Welker was targeted six times, but Demaryius Thomas and tight end Julius Thomas were able to make more out of their receptions as the bigger receivers did more damage against San Diego's smaller defensive backs. Heading into Week 10, Welker led the Broncos in receptions and touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas now leads in both categories.
Fantasy impact: Welker's disappointing week should be considered the exception rather than the norm. No one expected Welker's touchdown rate to continue at the outrageous pace he had through eight games, but his low reception and yardage totals were an added disappointment for owners. Of course, Welker will remain a WR1 as the Broncos prepare for the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.
