Fantasy Impact: Jackson has played in the Falcons’ last three games, but has been noticeably limited and lacking explosiveness. He is averaging a troubling 2.2 yards per carry in his last three games and has only found the endzone once this season on a Week 2 reception. Jackson hasn’t received more than 13 carries in a game this year.
Things won’t get much easier for Jackson this week. He will be facing the Buccaneers’ top 10 run defense. Until Jackson starts looking like his old self, he will likely need a significantly higher volume of carries to reward owners with the production that he has put up throughout his career. Jackson hasn’t shown any signs of being a high-end fantasy play in the last few weeks and there is little reason to expect otherwise. He is a Flex play and owners shouldn’t have high expectations.
