Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (ankle) has been ruled out for the team's Week 11 match up against the Baltimore Ravens. Cutler is dealing with a high ankle sprain and is considered week-to-week. His status for Week 12 is unclear. Serviceable Back up Josh McCown will be under center on Sunday.
Jay Cutler injury update: QB out for Week 11, fantasy owners
The Bears quarterback has been ruled out for Week 11. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Josh McCown has played as well as one can reasonably expect from a back up quarterback. In three of his games, he has thrown for four touchdowns with no interceptions while only being sacked three times. While McCown is far from a QB1, he has played well enough to justify the spot starts for fantasy owners until Cutler returns to action.
McCown has 53 career starts under his belt and proved his value as he led the Bears to a victory in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers. Although he certainly isn't an upgrade over Cutler, winning fantasy owners will still remain competitive with McCown under center. He is a mediocre QB2 play in Week 11 against Baltimore's middle-of-the-pack pass defense. Owners could do much worse.
