Ryan Mathews injury update: Chargers RB probable, will play for fantasy owners
The Chargers running back is listed as probable and is expected to suit up on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Mathews has finally managed to stay healthy and is having his best fantasy season to date. His career has been underwhelming to say the least, so “best fantasy season” isn’t say a whole lot, but he has established himself as a moderately steady option. Mathews only scored one touchdown in his first six games but has picked up the pace lately with two touchdowns in the last three weeks. He has a dream match up against the Dolphins’ porous run defense.
Fantasy owners should go ahead and start Mathews in Week 11. He doesn't provide much PPR value with Danny Woodhead establishing himself as the new Darren Sproles. Owners can still expect moderate production from the former first-round pick, however. Mathews is averaging 14.5 carries per game, which should be more than enough against the Dolphins. He is a solid RB2 option and should be in starting lineups.
