Houston Texans running back Ben Tate (ribs, ankle, toe) practiced on Friday and is listed as probable for the team's Week 12 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Tate was limited in practice on Thursday but isn't expected to miss any time this week.
Ben Tate injury update: RB probable, will play for fantasy owners
The Texans running back is battling a variety of injuries but is listed as probable. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Despite battling three different injuries, Tate will suit up on Sunday. After taking over starting duties for the injured Arian Foster, Tate's play has been decent at best. He has one touchdown on the year and hasn't topped 100 yards while losing two fumbles. Tate has also been a minor factor in the passing game. The opportunities are there with rookie quarterback Case Keenum under center but Tate hasn't been able to turn many heads with his feature back role.
Tate will have a favorable match up in the Jaguars. Jacksonville’s run defense gives up a ton of points to running backs almost every week and their offense isn’t a threat to run up the score and force opponents to abandon the run game. Tate is a meddling RB2 option in Week 12 and should have plenty of opportunities to do damage.
