Santonio Holmes injury update: WR probable, will play for fantasy owners
The Jets wide receiver is listed as probable and will play in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: If there was one New York Jets wide receiver to start on Sunday, it's Holmes. Unfortunately, that isn't saying much. Holmes had one outlier performance in Week 3 of 5/154/1 but has otherwise disappointed fantasy owners with injuries and underwhelming numbers. With rookie quarterback Geno Smith under center, his outlook isn't going to change anytime soon. The Jets like to take as much pressure off of Smith as possible which usually translate into a healthy dose of the run game. There is little reason to believe that Holmes will drop a monster fantasy line owners this week.
While Holmes still has some big-play ability left, he can’t be counted on for consistent fantasy production in the Jets offense. The Ravens secondary isn’t outstanding but it doesn’t change Holmes’ outlook. He’s a WR4 play.
