There wasn't much working for the Cleveland Browns on the ground in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chris Ogbonnaya saw four carries for 26 yards. He added two catches for 15 yards to his stat line but also lost a fumble. Willis McGahee saw just four carries for 12 yards. Fozzy Whittaker saw some more action after Ogbonnaya's fumble, but he still totaled just 16 yards on six carries along with one catch for five yards.
Cleveland running backs continue to lack fantasy value
The Browns handed the ball off to running backs just 14 times for 54 total rushing yards. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Needless to say, it was a dismal performance by the Cleveland Browns backfield. Granted, the Browns were taking to the air as they attempted to keep up with the Steelers on the scoreboard, but the poor quarterback play made the Browns offensive a bit one-dimensional for most of the afternoon.
Fantasy impact: There was a glimmer of hope when Ogbonnaya gained 99 yards from the line of scrimmage against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. After his fumble, there is no telling who will be favored in the Browns backfield moving forward. It's unfortunate too because the Browns will face a generous Jacksonville Jaguars defense in Week 13. Because of the uncertainty surrounding Browns ball carriers as well as the risks that come along with a dysfunctional offense, there simply isn't any reason to start a Browns running back for the time being.
