Baltimore Ravens running back Bernard Pierce (hamstring) practiced all week and will play his usual role as the team's second running back in Week 9 against the Cleveland Browns. Coming off the bye week, his hamstring is in better shape and he will be in line for his usual role of limited carries.
Bernard Pierce injury update: Practiced in full, will play for fantasy owners
The Ravens backup running back will play behind Ray Rice in Week 9. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Implications: Although Ray Rice is not having his best season, Pierce owners should still expect nothing more than 10 or so carries at the most. While Pierce had a promising rookie campaign, he didn't do much as the feature back when Rice was out during Weeks 2 and 3, averaging 2.8 yards per carry.
The two weeks when Pierce started are when he managed both of his touchdowns this year. If owners are planning to play him on the hopes that he might vulture a touchdown, they are likely to be disappointed. Cleveland’s run defense presents a favorable match up, but owners should look elsewhere for production. He is a desperation flex play in Week 9.
