Buffalo Bills running back Fred Jackson (knee) practiced on Thursday and Friday and will play the the team's Week 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson practiced hasn't missed a game all year. However, fellow running back C.J. Spiller (ankle) is also expected to return to action this week.
Fred Jackson injury update: RB listed as probable, will play for fantasy owners
The Buffalo Bills running back practiced all week and is expected to play along with C.J. Spiller. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Nothing about the team's Week 9 matchup bodes well for Jackson or any of the Buffalo running backs. C.J. Spiller will likely make his return, leaving the distribution of carries unpredictable. Jackson hasn't average more than 3.5 yards per carry in a game since Week 4. Fill-in quarterback Thad Lewis (ribs, flu) is listed as doubtful, leaving the Bills to turn to undrafted rookie Jeff Tuel or Matt Flynn, who has face-planted in every opportunity he's had. To make matters even worse, they will be facing Kansas City's stingy defense.
Jackson’s only saving grace is that he remains the team’s goal line back. However, those opportunities are likely to be scarce with all of the other factors at play. Jackson is a weak flex play and owners should look to avoid this whole situation.
