It appears as though a hamstring injury has returned to haunt both Darren McFadden and his fantasy owners. The same hamstring that kept McFadden off the field in Week 5 was aggravated in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. McFadden had just five carries for 12 yards and one catch for three yards before leaving the field. Running back Rashad Jennings filled in for McFadden. Jennings operated with a lot of garbage time as the Eagles led 35-13 early in the third quarter. Regardless, Jennings carried the ball 15 times for 102 yards and a touchdown.
Darren McFadden’s Week 9 fantasy outing is cut short with hamstring injury
McFadden rushed for just 12 yards before suffering a hamstring injury on Sunday. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: While McFadden's injury doesn't appear serious, hamstring injuries tend to linger and McFadden has been plagued by injuries for most of his career. The fact that McFadden has been on the field for seven out of eight games should feel like a gift to owners. It's especially disappointing that the injury occurred in Week 9, as McFadden was viewed a must-start against a soft Philadelphia defense. Assuming McFadden sits in Week 10, Jennings will be a strong flex option against the Giants.
