New England Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson (foot) has already been ruled out for the team's Week 13 game against the Houston Texans. Dobson did not practice with the team on Thursday or Friday and did not appear to ever have a realistic shot at playing this week.
Aaron Dobson injury update: WR out, will not play for fantasy owners
The New England Patriots’ wide receiver has been ruled out for Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: With Dobson out of the picture, fellow rookie receiver Kenbrell Thompkins will be reinserted into the starting lineup. Dobson didn't do anything last week against the Denver Broncos, as he didn't record a catch. A larger role for Thompkins could have been imminent regardless of his injury status. The undrafted Thompkins turned a lot of heads in camp and started the year off as the starter. He struggled like most rookie receivers and was eventually relegated to a back-up role. Thompkins didn't make a catch until the third quarter of last week but still ended up with a 6/56 line.
Thompkins has a tough match up in the Houston Texans and the quietly top-five pass defense. Tom Brady has plenty of other receiving options, so owners can't expect him to force the ball to Thompkins unless it's there. He's an average WR4 play in Week 13.
