Michael Crabtree injury update: 49ers wide receiver ACTIVE for Week 13
The 49ers wide receiver is set to play in his first game of the season in Week 13. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree (Achilles) is expected to make his season debut in the team's Week 13 game against the St. Louis Rams. Crabtree had been recovering from surgery but is fully expected to see his first action of the season on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Crabtree is set return from his injury but is expected to be on a snap count as the 49ers attempt to ease him back into the mix. Crabtree has shown slow but steady improvement in each of his first four seasons and appeared to be on his way to becoming one of the league’s better receivers as he finished the 2012 season with 85 receptions for 1,105 yards and 9 touchdowns, all career highs.
Coming back from an Achilles injury that has been known to sap players’ explosiveness, fantasy owners should take a wait-and-see approach with Crabtree. His snap count will likely limit his potential production until he shows San Francisco that he is comfortable and can handle an increased workload. He would be a desperation flex play in Week 13 and owners should simply hope for a few catches without any setbacks.
