Fantasy Impact: Ellington will continue to split carries with veteran Rashard Mendenhall. Ellington presents much more fantasy upside at this point, but his number of carries has been an issue for owners. His Week 8 breakout game of 154 rushing yards and a touchdown was the only time this season where the rookie had more than 11 carries and 56 yards. He accomplished the line on 15 carries. Ellington is averaging a stellar 5.8 yards per carry and has put his big play ability on display throughout the year. However, his fantasy value will continued to be limited by Mendenhall.
Ellington has a dream matchup in the Titans, who give up the second-most fantasy points to running backs in the NFL. Assuming he’s in for his usual workload in the 10-carry ballpark, Ellington is set to provide owners with some value. He’s a solid flex play in Week 15.
