Forte ended up with 5.3 yards per carry. His longest carry was for 24 yards. He was targeted just three times in the passing game, and his one catch was a season low. Regardless, Forte was effective enough on the ground, picking up chunks of yardage all afternoon. Fellow running back Michael Bush saw just three carries to Forte's 24, though Bush ended up with a touchdown on the afternoon.
Fantasy impact: Forte owners may have been slightly disappointed with his inability to get into the end zone. Owners in PPR formats might not have been happy with his low reception total. Still, Forte was a huge part of the offense all afternoon. His 24 carries tied for a season high, and the return of quarterback Jay Cutler meant that Forte was relied on to establish a ground game for most of the afternoon. He remains a strong RB1 against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 16.
