With Willis McGahee sidelined in Week 15, it wasn't Chris Ogbonnaya leading the Cleveland Browns backfield. It was running back Edwin Baker. Baker, who didn't have a single career carry until Sunday afternoon, rushed for 38 yards and a touchdown. He also caught four passes for 46 yards. Ogbonnaya was the perceived favorite to lead the attack against the vulnerable Chicago Bears run defense. He carried the ball just five times for 7 yards. Ogbonnaya also caught five passes for 39 yards.
Edwin Baker surprises with 84 yards, 1 touchdown
Edwin Baker emerged in Cleveland with 84 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Baker was on the San Diego Chargers roster in 2012, when Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner was head coach. However, Baker didn't touch the ball once last season. He appeared to be the more explosive option out of the backfield, and the Browns relied on him as the hot hand as a result.
Fantasy impact: As impressive as Baker appeared with his minimal amount of opportunities, there's simply no reason to gamble on any Browns running back this late in the season. The Browns have a date in Week 16 with the New York Jets, who are one of the most difficult defenses for fantasy running backs. There's also no telling which running back will get the most work each week. If anything, Baker's performance is a reminder that no Browns running back can be trusted during the fantasy playoffs.
