It was another rough week for Wes Welker. Welker finished with just three receptions for 38 yards in Sunday's win over the Kansas City Chiefs. Manning targeted Welker five times all afternoon, but it was fellow wide receiver Eric Decker who saw the majority of Manning's looks. Decker finished with eight receptions for 174 yards and four touchdowns. Demaryius Thomas managed 106 yards on just three catches, and running back Knowshon Moreno was heavily involved in the passing game as well. With the Chiefs finding ways to eliminate Welker all afternoon, Manning found ways to punish them by exploiting coverage and attacking other receivers. It was Welker's second slow week in a row with fewer than 40 receiving yards and no score.
Wes Welker disappoints fantasy owners with 38 yards in Week 13
Welker managed just 38 yards in Sunday’s win over the Kansas City Chiefs. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Welker’s poor outing should be inevitable at times. Opposing defenses will likely find ways to shut down Denver’s shifty receiver from time to time. The good news for fantasy owners is that Manning is putting on an impressive display without much production from Welker, which creates even more of a headache for opponents. It’s only a matter of time until Welker bounces back. He’s a strong WR2 option moving forward despite the two rocky performances.
