There weren't many noteworthy performances in the Minnesota Vikings' 42-14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Rookie receiver Cordarrelle Patterson was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal showing. Patterson caught three passes for 8 yards, along with three carries for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Cordarrelle Patterson is one of few Vikings fantasy producers in Week 16
Cordarrelle Patterson finished Week 16 with 62 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Even though Patterson was targeted a team-high seven times on Sunday, he suffered from poor quarterback play by Matt Cassel. Cassel was constantly under duress by Cincinnati’s front seven. He was sacked four times and threw three interceptions. Patterson’s touchdown came in the third quarter, with the game nearly out of reach. It was Patterson’s fourth straight game with a touchdown.
Fantasy impact: Patterson's rare combination of size and speed makes for a uniquely versatile weapon in Minnesota. He current sits with 43 receptions for 438 yards, 10 carries for 104 yards and five total touchdowns. He'll be an intriguing PPR option in the 2014 fantasy draft. He's a shaky WR3 option against the Detroit Lions in Week 17.
