It may have been a lopsided victory for the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but there was plenty of balance in the Bengals backfield all afternoon. Giovani Bernard had 13 carries for 20 yards and caught two passes for 47 yards. Bernard's biggest play of the game was a 41-yard reception that put the Bengals at the goal line. Bernard excels in open space, but he was having trouble finding holes for most of the afternoon in the run game. Fellow running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis was fairly lackluster with 12 carries for 24 yards, but he did manage to find the end zone.
Giovani Bernard has mediocre fantasy performance in Week 16
Giovani Bernard finished Sunday’s game with 67 yards from scrimmage. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Bernard and Green-Ellis continue to share the backfield almost equally. There's no question that Bernard is the more explosive option, but there's something to be said for Green-Ellis' ability to gain tough yards in critical situations as a north-south runner. Bernard's upside makes him a viable RB2 against the Ravens in Week 17. Green-Ellis remains a low-end flex option who relies on touchdowns for his fantasy production.
