New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen (wrist) is listed as probable and will play in the team's Week 14 game against the Cleveland Browns. Vereen practiced in full every day this week and was never in any danger of missing Sunday's game.
Shane Vereen injury update: RB probable, will play for fantasy owners
The Patriots running back is listed as probable and will play in Week 14. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Ever since returning from his wrist injury in Week 11, Vereen has proven to be a well-rounded back and a PPR monster. In Weeks 11-13, Vereen posted games of eight, eight and five catches, respectively. One of his five catches last week was also good for a touchdown. He hasn't run the ball for more than 10 times in that span. However, that could easily change. Early-down back Stevan Ridley lost a fumble in three straight games in Weeks 9-12 and has four lost fumbles on the year. With confidence in Ridley decreasing by the week, Vereen could be in line to see a few more carries.
Vereen has a solid matchup in Cleveland’s run defense that has struggled to stop opponents’ rushing attacks all year. He has more value in PPR than standard leagues, but he’s the only Patriots back that owners can trust in the playoffs. Vereen is a high-upside RB2.
