Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford had a rough outing against the Philadelphia Eagles. The snow proved to be a major factor as he finished the day completing 10 of 25 passes (40-percent completion) for 148 yards and no touchdowns. Stafford also had an incredibly tough time holding on the football, fumbling an alarming five times and losing one of them.

Stafford had been enjoying a nice bounce-back season up to this game. After finishing last season with 20 passing touchdowns and 17 interceptions, he’s already got 27 on the year and is a good bet to finish with more than 4,500 yards passing. While this dud may have cost some an early exit from the playoffs, fantasy owners who survived shouldn’t lose faith in Stafford.
Fantasy Impact: The lack of production should largely be attributed to the snow, which caused both quarterbacks to struggle. Stafford also lost one of his best weapons right before the game in Reggie Bush. He has a tougher matchup next week against the Baltimore Ravens. If weather isn't a factor, owners should expect to see him rebound from this sub-par performance. He remains a high-end QB1.
