Carson Palmer complete 4-of-6 passes for 77 yards and a touchdown in his first real action as the Cardinals starting quarterback. He played three series in the first quarter against the Packers before turning the reigns over to Drew Stanton.
Carson Palmer looks good in first outing, fantasy value stable
The Cardinals new starting quarterback had a solid first start in limited action against Green Bay. We break down the fantasy implications.

Palmer’s highlight of the night came on a 38-yard touchdown pass to Andre Roberts. He also hooked up with Larry Fitzgerald for a 21-yard strike. Arizona’s offensive line managed to keep Palmer upright while he was in.
Fantasy impact: The main concern for Palmer going forward is the five guys in front of him. The Cardinals offensive line was atrocious last season, but the franchise added a few key players to solidify that group for their new starting quarterback.
Eric Winston and rookie Jonathan Cooper are huge upgrades, and Levi Brown is back after tearing a tricep muscle. Palmer has good weapons in Fitzgerald, Roberts and Michael Floyd. He’s locked in as a QB2.
