Jets running back Chris Ivory has missed training camp due to a hamstring injury, but he appears to be getting closer to a return. Ivory was seen participating in individual drills at practice on Sunday, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.
Chris Ivory helps fantasy value by starting individual drills
The Jets haven’t seen much of Chris Ivory so far in 2013, but their starting running back is finally making progress in practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

If Ivory is cleared for team drills soon, he could see playing time in the Jets next preseason game. New York faces the Jaguars on Saturday, so that at least gives him the week to work.
Fantasy impact: New York's ground game looked terrible against the Lions in their opener. Bilal Powell looked like his usual plodding self, rushing for 14 yards on nine carries.
Ivory is clearly the superior runner on the roster. He just can’t stay healthy. Individual drills are a step in the right direction, but fantasy owners should still be wary of his status. Ivory will be relied on often if he’s healthy when the regular season begins.
