Chris Johnson may finally be returning to his old form. The team’s No. 1 running back has been one of the most impressive players in training camp, according to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.
Chris Johnson boosts fantasy stock with impressive camp
The 58-yard touchdown against the Redskins isn’t the only proof of Chris Johnson’s improved play this season. He’s been a stud through training camp as well. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wyatt says Johnson “has looked fresher and more explosive than he was last season.” He’s also showing nice hands in the receiving game. Wyatt notes the extended running back corps as a potential factor in Johnson’s elevated performance.
Fantasy impact: The 2011 season was a huge disappointment for Johnson’s owners. Last season he made strides by averaging his highest yards per carry (4.5) since his remarkable 2,000-yard campaign in 2009, but some owners are still having trouble jumping back on the bandwagon.
With Shonn Greene serving as his backup now, it's possible that CJ?K is stepping up his game due to the added competition. Whatever the cause, he looks like a solid RB1 right now. New additions to the Titans offensive line solidify that ranking.
