After turning 37 in March, Peyton Manning doesn't appear to be regressing as for as his physical traits go. The word around the Broncos camp is that the veteran quarterback actually looks like he's in better shape than he was last season, according to Mike Klis of The Denver Post.

The Broncos seem to believe their starting quarterback looks like he’s in even better shape at the age of 37. We break down the fantasy implications.


Eric Decker said Manning "came in here in better shape" and he "looks like he's feeling a lot better than he did a year ago." Demaryius Thomas noted he's seeing more zip on the ball from his quarterback as well.
Fantasy impact: If owners needed another reason to consider Manning as one of the top quarterbacks available, well, here you go. Age doesn’t seem to be taking it’s toll on him.
Last year Manning threw for 37 touchdowns, the second-highest mark of his career. Add Wes Welker to the mix for 2013, and owners should feel comfortable with drafting Manning in Round 3 or 4.
