Buffalo has already named Spiller the workhorse for the upcoming season, but these early showings prove Jackson is going to have a difficult time making much of an impact.
Fantasy impact: Spiller is a first-round pick, while Jackson is a late-round handcuff at best. Most owners should have a good understanding of their dynamic by now.
While it was only the first preseason game of the year, it’s clear Jackson is slowing down. He’s been through multiple knee surgeries, and at the age of 32 he isn’t a real threat in anyone’s lineup. Don’t pay much attention to him unless Spiller goes down for an extended period.
