Ryan Tannehill completed 10-of-15 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown on Saturday night against the Texans. He stayed in for 29 snaps and led his offense to two scoring drives.
Ryan Tannehill plays well against Texans, fantasy value still questionable
Ryan Tannehill performed well in his extended on Saturday night. Is the second-year quarterback’s stock on the rise? We break down the fantasy implications.

After struggling to connect with Mike Wallace in prior weeks, Tannehill completed three passes to his No. 1 wideout, including his lone score. However, Dustin Keller was carted off the field, and Alex Marvez of FOX Sports says the Dolphins starting tight end is out for the year.
Fantasy impact: No owners (aside from Miami diehards) are investing much stock in Tannehill. The Dolphins added a few new weapons for their young quarterback, but one is already out of the picture.
Keep Tannehill in mind as a spot starter when your No. 1 quarterback is on bye. He will certainly exceed his 12 touchdown passes from his rookie season, but Tannehill still has a long way to go before owners take him seriously.
