The Titans ground game was running on all cylinders against the Bengals in their second preseason game. Chris Johnson rushed for 30 yards on seven carries and caught two passes for 16 yards in 20 snaps.
Chris Johnson fantasy value unaffected by backups running well
Every Titans running back found room to run on Saturday against the Bengals. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackie Battle finished with 58 yards on 12 carries in 21 snaps, and Shonn Green picked up 29 yards on six carries in 15 snaps.
Fantasy impact: Johnson continues to run well, as he broke off a 17-yard run in limited time in Cincinnati. He still appears to operating with the same boom-or-bust mindset, but the improvement of the Titans offensive line will help him find big holes this year.
Battle has a career average of 3.6 yards per carry. Greene is only going to be used for short yardage and goal line situations. Even if they continue to run well in preseason play, don’t worry about Johnson’s workload. He’s in the RB1 range, and owners should feel more confident about his performance so far.
