Victor Cruz gave the Giants and fantasy owners quite the scare when he exited Sunday night's game against the Colts with a heel injury.
Victor Cruz fantasy value unaffected by heel injury
Cruz left Sunday night’s game, but he appears to have dodged a bullet.

Luckily, x-rays came back negative, and according to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN New York, Tom Coughlin said Cruz jammed his heel and is sore. Coughlin hopes that Cruz won’t miss any significant time.
Cruz signed a six-year contract over the offseason after two straight seasons with more than 80 catches.
Fantasy spin: Cruz is a top 15 wide receiver when healthy, and he hasn’t missed a single regular season game in his career. The Giants may be cautious and hold him out for the rest of the preseason, but the injury doesn’t sound major enough at this point for him to miss Week 1 of the regular season.
Hakeem Nicks returned on Sunday and had a strong showing, so if the outlook on Cruz worsens, he stands to benefit the most with Reuben Randle also receiving a bump in fantasy stock. For now, the situation is status quo, considering the x-rays were negative.
