Eddie Lacy couldn’t find any room to run in his third preseason game against the Seahawks. The rookie finished with -5 yards on eight carries in 22 snaps.
Eddie Lacy fails to impress fantasy owners with rough third showing
Leading up to the Packers third game of the preseason, Eddie Lacy was drawing high praise from most writers and analysts. How did Friday night go for the rookie? We break down the fantasy implications.

Lacy didn’t start the game for Green Bay. DuJuan Harris initially ran with the first-team offense, but he left the game with a knee injury. It still appears that Lacy will be the No. 1 back for the Packers when the regular season starts.
Fantasy impact: The poor showing actually might be a blessing in disguise for smart fantasy owners. Lacy was playing behind Graham Harrell and the Packers second-string offense a significant amount of his reps, and that combination against the Seahawks starting defense doesn’t bode well for anyone.
If Lacy’s ADP drops as a result of the poor showing, owners need to keep an eye on the value pick he could become. Don’t go into panic mode over this one.
