Russell Wilson completed 11-of-17 passes for 126 yards and two interceptions against the Packers in his third preseason game. Wilson was also sacked three times in 38 snaps, seeing extended time in Seattle’s dress rehearsal.
Russell Wilson throws two interceptions, fantasy value unaffected
Seattle’s starting quarterback had a rough outing against the Packers Friday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

He managed to add 13 yards on his only run of the night. The Seahawks offensive line found it tough to keep Wilson upright at times. Neither team put many points on the board, if the 3-3 halftime score didn’t explain that already.
Fantasy impact: It wasn’t the best showing for Wilson, but fantasy owners shouldn’t be too concerned. One of his interceptions was tipped at the line, while the other sailed on a throw downfield. He acknowledged after the game that he needs to do a better job avoiding turnovers.
Last year the Seahawks managed Wilson to help limit his turnovers. They will likely still hold him to a low amount of pass attempts per game, but Wilson’s upside puts him as a fringe top 10 fantasy passer.
