Darren McFadden injury has no bearing on fantasy value
Owners are used to seeing a red mark on their lineup next to Darren McFadden’s name, but his current injury isn’t too serious. We break down the fantasy implications.

McFadden was ruled out with a shoulder injury prior Oakland’s matchup with Chicago. While he has been a constant injury concern since entering the NFL, his current ailment doesn’t appear to be serious.
Fantasy impact: Last year, McFadden entered the season as a potential top 10 pick in preseason rankings. Fast forward a season, and owners are wary of taking a chance on him again.
Can McFadden play an entire season? Probably not. His injury history proves that. But don’t panic quite yet. The shoulder seems to be fine. However, looking at Oakland’s offense overall, it’s hard to believe McFadden will be able to find much room to run when he does play.
