Rashard Mendenhall left Saturday night’s game against San Diego with a right knee injury and did not return to action. He looked good while he was in the game, rushing for 47 yards on six carries in the first half.
Rashard Mendenhall injures knee, fantasy value put on hold
After an impressive start against the Chargers, Rashard Mendenhall was sidelined again with a knee injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Mendenhall’s tore his ACL in his right knee back in 2011. He has been suffering from tendinitis in the same knee during training camp with the Cardinals. The team hasn’t reported on his status yet.
Fantasy impact: A popular bounce-back pick among fantasy circles, Mendenhall just can’t catch a break with his right knee. It’s plagued him in the past, so his owners will need to monitor his status closely going forward.
Event though he is two years removed from his ACL tear, Mendenahll hasn’t looked the same ever since. Last season with Pittsburgh, he struggled after returning to the starting lineup. He remains the No. 1 back in Arizona, but there’s no telling when or if he will be 100 percent.
