Lamar Miller rushed for 35 yards on eight carries against the Buccaneers on Saturday night. He served as the two-minute back for the Dolphins and outplayed Daniel Thomas once again.
Lamar Miller runs well, Daniel Thomas continues losing fantasy value
There is an obvious disparity in talent in the Dolphins backfield. We break down the fantasy implications.

Thomas rushed for just three yards on seven carries. Miami continues to give both backs the opportunity to compete, but there isn’t much of a running back battle here.
Fantasy impact: There isn’t much left to debate. The Dolphins continue to swap out running backs on drives, giving plenty of reps. Thomas, though, isn’t going to help them win.
Once the regular season starts, the Dolphins should be running with Miller for most of the time. He a superior runner, and he looks better in pass protection. It’s reasonable to look at Thomas as a handcuff, but he won’t provide much value even if he gets a chance to start.
