Steven Jackson runs well, fantasy value looks promising
Owners can stop worrying about Steven Jackson’s first preseason showing. He looks solid. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jackson now has 101 yards on 25 carries in the preseason. He’ll be the featured back for Atlanta throughout the year, with Jacquizz Rodgers filling in at time.
Fantasy impact: Go ahead and pencil Jackson in as a top 10 running back. He’s always been a workhorse throughout his career, but with an offense that has the ability to score often, Jackson will be putting up plenty of points each week to keep owners happy.
He has averaged 4.2 yards per carry in 2,395 carries since entering the league. While he can be more of a grinder at times with his style, Jackson looks like a good fit for the Falcons rushing attack.
